Brushwood clearing

We offer undergrowth clearing services throughout Estonia, using specialized guillotine equipment. We quickly and efficiently clear ditches, road edges, fields, and plots of brush. If needed, we also organize the removal, storage, and processing of the cut material into quality firewood.

We clear your land of brushwood

Our brushwood clearing service is designed for managing larger areas and removing overgrowth. We use guillotine equipment, which allows for fast and efficient clearing. We can assist you in the following cases:

  • Clearing of low-value forest – old clear-cuts, undergrowth, and alder groves.
  • Ditch banks and road edges – to improve visibility and safety.
  • Edges of farmland and overgrown areas – to restore the value of agricultural land and increase usability.
  • Clearing of plots and residential land – for property maintenance and improved appearance.

Combitrans OÜ - Forwarders

Cleared areas are more usable, safer, and help preserve land value in the long term. Our service is used by forest owners, farmers, municipalities, and private individuals who want to maintain and enhance the value of their land.

Note! We do not carry out maintenance of small gardens or manual trimming – our service is designed for larger areas where brush needs to be cut using a guillotine.

Brush cutting with a guillotine

Brush cutting with a guillotine means mechanically cutting shrubs, bushes, or small trees using a guillotine-type attachment mounted on forestry machinery or an excavator.

The guillotine is suitable for cutting small to medium-sized trees and shrubs, and can handle larger trunks up to 35 cm in diameter if needed. Advantages of guillotine cutting include:

  • High work speed and efficiency.

  • Cleaner results compared to manual cutting.

  • Ability to use the cut material for energy wood – nothing goes to waste.

The guillotine allows cutting and collecting large amounts of brush simultaneously, which means faster project completion and lower costs for the client.

How is the cost of brush cutting determined?

The cost of brush cutting depends on the size of the overgrown area, the characteristics of the vegetation, and the working conditions. The main factors affecting the price are:

The price of brush cutting mainly depends on:

  • the size and density of the area to be cleared

  • the type of material (alder groves, old clear-cut areas, young forest)

  • the choice of machinery and the duration of work

  • accessibility and the condition of roads

  • the need for material removal and storage

If the cut vegetation is suitable for producing wood chips, we can transport and process it – this may reduce your service cost or, for larger volumes, cover the entire work cost and even generate additional income. A precise estimate can be provided after an inspection of the overgrown area. The initial consultation and quotation are always free for you.
